Senior Legal Counsel (Aalborg/Lindø/Remote)

Specifically, we are looking for individuals who want a job focusing on the legal perspective on sales and tender work.

Workplace could be our offices in either Aalborg or Odense (Lindø), but we are also open for remote/hybrid work.

We build a green future together with someone who can:

  • Actively support CS WIND Offshore sales with the achievement of sales targets
  • Review and analyse tender documents and contracts usually based on FIDIC issued by global clients to identify contractual and legal risks
  • Draft contracts, position papers and other legal documents
  • Participate in and actively support contract negotiations - both in Denmark and abroad
  • Take the lead on maintaining and developing CS WIND Offshore`s terms and conditions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the right risk profile for CS WIND Offshore
  • Advice on ad hoc assignments on commercial and legal issues

As part of the team, we imagine you to:

  • Have a relevant legal background, e.g. Master of Business Administration or Master of Laws
  • Preferably have 5 years’ experience as a transactional lawyer preferably from the renewables sector. Alternatively, a highly experienced FIDIC contract manager could also be considered
  • Preferably have proven experience with FIDIC contracts
  • Have a business-oriented mindset and understanding of how to combine commercial considerations with legal requirements
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Be fluent in English at a negotiating level (verbal and written)
  • Be interested in working closely together with the commercial team and to take an active part in winning new contracts
