Specifically, we are looking for individuals who want a job focusing on ensuring that our current and many future activities are continuously in compliance with current legislation and that we continuously have up-to-date environmental approvals, while at the same time you will be tasked with driving continuous environmental improvements across the entire factory. In this context, you will be in close collaboration with project teams across the organization and will have your production going out on our various site's.

You will be anchored in our staff function Compliance, ESG & Audit in Aalborg and enter into a close collaboration with HSE specialists, Operations, Maintenance and internal and external environmental specialists. You will be reporting to Director, Compliance, ESG & Audit and be part of an excellent environmental team that consist of a Senior Environmental specialist in Aalborg and Environmental Specialist in Lindø.

• Acquire new knowledge regarding legislation in the field of technology and industrial environment
• Participate in occasional environmental inspections at subcontractors in Denmark and abroad
• Adopt a friendly and cooperative tone, but at the same time stand firm when necessary
• Work in a structured and systematic manner

As part of the team, we expect you to:

• Have a background as an engineer, marine engineer or similar with an interest and experience in industrial environments – or an environmental professional background as a biologist or similar, with in-depth technical experience from similar industries
• Have experience with environmental approval processes and general knowledge of current Danish environmental legislation in the industrial area, including the “Maskinværkstedsbekendtgørelse” and “Godkendelsesbekendtgørelsen”
• Have an industrial technical experience and can independently identify, design and operate environmental projects within energy, waste, emission control etc.
• Have experience with project management and be able to work independently
• Be fluent in Danish and English in writing and speech
