Meet Marcin Bajuk

Marcin works out of our Poland office. He joined us in 2009, where he started out as an inspector - supervising our Polish sub-contractors. Since 2016, however, Marcin has been working as Project Manager. Learn about Marcin's workday, and his passion for being in motion ...

CS WIND Offshore has twenty years' of experience in working with Polish steel construction companies. Our Polish sub-contractors are spread all over Poland.

Marcin was one if the first colleagues to join the office in Poland. His previous employer was a supplier for Bladt Industries, and that was how he learned about the open position. He had already direct contact with Bladt inspectors, and his future colleagues.

Marcin worked for Bladt Industries for 14 years, until we became CS WIND Offshore in 2024.

“I like to be in motion. It is always profitable to have a live talk with suppliers, so I really enjoy visiting them.”

Marcin Bajuk

The first colleagues to join the Poland office were QC inspectors who supervised production in Poland. In time, some of the inspectors became Project Managers, and began to lead and be responsible for their own projects. Marcin Bajuk was one of them.

We now have a total of seven project managers working from Poland.

In his job, Marcin has daily contact with headquarters and suppliers, as well as the senior Project Manager, who supports him. It has been the same structure for years. The list of projects Marcin has been involved in is long, and he is currently working on the CVOW TP project

"I am responsible for the transition piece scope within the project. I'm taking care of the major parts, e.g.  external platforms, external ladders, intermediate platforms and various smaller components - in general secondary steel structures," explains Marcin Bajuk, who not only overlook sub-suppliers in Poland, but also various other countries. He therefore travels on a regular basis.

“In general, all aspects of my work are important to monitor; the progress, quality and being within the planned budget. I enjoy the different stages of the project, and always seeing things moving.”

The experience of our staff of Project Managers, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) inspectors and painting inspectors working in our Polish branch has been built from the very beginning on the experience and deep knowledge in the field of steel structure production among our suppliers and colleagues from headquarters in Aalborg, Denmark. Cooperation is close between Sales, Project Managers, QA/QC/HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) specialists on the various projects.

Marcin has a background as international welding inspector from Institute of Welding, in Poland.

“We have frequent and planned meetings with and visits to suppliers, and to our international organization. And we also co-operate closely with inspectors. In particular in relation to the work of the inspectors, I understand the responsibility and challenges having been myself in this position for years.”

Marcin Bajuk

Marcin has climbed Transition Pieces, after inspection of secondary steel, a couple of times.

In his spare time, Marcin is also not afraid of heights; he very much enjoys mountain climbing.
