Yesterday, Morten Falck Sรธrensen, Group Lead at CS WIND Offshore was in prison.

Together with Trine Skibelund Jespersgaard from High:five - Job for young people on the edge he visited Kragskovhede Prison in Northern Jutland, Denmark to talk about the job opportunities at CS WIND Offshore.

Opportunities that may be a long way off for some, but which are not impossible to achieve ๐Ÿ‘ท๐ŸŽ‡๐Ÿ”ฉ๐Ÿ”ง ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿญ ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ผ

The visit was part of Job Day, which High:five organizes in collaboration with the Danish Prison Service (Kriminalforsorgen) and companies that want to participate.

โ€œWe need the hands, both as a company, but also as a society. We want to show that there is hope and opportunities - we all have a background. There is no doubt that some of them got a boost of self-confidence and new hope. It was a good feeling when I drove home yesterday.โ€

Morten explained about CS Wind Offshore, facts about our company, what job opportunities there are, as well as our expectations.

โ€œI love working with CS WIND Offshore. They see opportunities in each individual, and manage to make each person grow. The ones that are working there say that they are happy with the workplace. You are part of the team, and not the guy from "High Five"/ the former criminal.โ€

Senior Consultant Trine S. Jespersgaard at High:five, Northern Jutland.

"CS WIND Offshore has clear and distinct communication, and are easy to talk with. You feel like part of the company when you visit them, and when the young people meet with them. We've had a few who initially couldn't cope with an apprenticeship, but CS WIND Offshore are good at making them grow, build on their self-confidence, and yes, so far two are apprenticed as blacksmiths and one more on the way," explains Trine.

At CS WIND Offshore, we are happy about the collaboration with High:five, and can proudly say that we have seven colleagues who are employed through High:five.

A collaboration we have had since 2019.

With this story, we hope to inspire others to think along similar lines when it comes to the workforce of the future.
