It is the first time in Bladt Industries’ history, that a contract has been signed for three substation topsides at the same time.
The weight of each individual substation will be 2,800 tons. Hornsea Project One Offshore Wind Farm will be the biggest windfarm in the world and is expected to be operational in 2020, approximately 120 kilometres off the coast of Yorkshire in Great Britain.
Bladt Industries is responsible for the construction of steel structures for all three substations.
