New CEO of CS WIND Offshore

Mr. Hee Joung Moon from sister company CS Wind Portugal takes position as CEO of CS WIND Offshore 1st of August 2024.

Mr. Hee Joung Moon steps in as CEO as Mr. Joseph Oh, recent CEO and Mr. Henrik Olesen, recent Co-CEO, have decided to step back from their positions for personal reasons to prioritize their respective families. Mr. Henrik Olesen will henceforward serve as a member of the board of CS WIND Offshore.

New CEO of CS WIND Offshore, Mr. Moon, is currently the Head of CS Wind Portugal and joins CS WIND Offshore with a wealth of experience from Samsung SDI and from senior management positions in both CS Wind UK and CS Wind Germany.

- I am very pleased to be joining CS WIND Offshore. I join with a primary aim to ensure stability - for employees, customers and stakeholders. Our owners, CS Wind, acquired this company because of the evident potential to establish a profitable, enduring business. The right prerequisites are present, but we are not there yet. I will do everything I can to make sure we turn things around and I look forward to doing so with the support of all my new colleagues across the organization, says Mr. Moon and adds:

- It is with great understanding for each of their decisions, that we at CS WIND Offshore thank both Mr. Joseph Oh and Mr. Henrik Olesen for their dedication to the company and the time and energy they have put into their work.

Mr. Moon has been CEO of CS Wind Portugal for almost three years, in which period CS Wind has taken decision on significant investments to expand the wind tower factory’s production capacity due to high market demand.
