Successful installation of the Kaskasi substation.
The 1,400 tonne Kaskasi substation has been successfully installed in the German North Sea some 35km north of Helgoland. Here 38 wind turbines will be connected to the substation that will have a capacity of 342 MW.
We have been busy with Kaskasi since May 2019 – and by now, we feel that we know each inch of this 1,400 tonne yellow beauty.
