Upending of first TP for Veja Mate Offshore Wind Farm

This week, upending of the first transition piece for Veja Mate took place.

As announced in the third quarter of 2015, a joint venture between Bladt industries and EEW SPC won the contract for building foundations for the Veja Mate Offshore Wind Farm.

Bladt’s scope in the project is to build 67 transition pieces which, compared to previous projects, have a larger diameter of up to 6.8 meters.

This week, upending of the first transition piece took place. Everything went smoothly, and the total weight of the transition piece was measured to 293.5 tonnes.
